The Department of Justice has issued a notice proposing the extension, without change, of the currently approved information collection supporting the Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program. The action is published under the Paperwork Reduction Act eCollection eComments process and invites public comment on the continued collection.

Because this is a straight extension without change, the underlying application, reporting, and reimbursement data requirements that jurisdictions submit through the BVP portal remain in effect as previously approved. No modifications to program eligibility, covered vest types, or NIJ compliance conditions are proposed in this notice.
