Regulatory change detection is a core ArmorOS monitor target, but the fastest signal is usually a practitioner who noticed something before it hit our feed.
If your state or neighboring states have any of the following, drop a note:
- Pending bills that affect body-armor sale, possession, or LE procurement
- AG opinions or enforcement guidance that narrowed or broadened an existing statute
- Changes to who counts as an "authorized purchaser" in face-to-face states (CT, NY, LA)
- New cooperative procurement language that matters (NASPO, regional purchasing alliances)
Useful format:
Jurisdiction — citation (with link) What changed — one sentence Effective — date or "proposed, [committee] [date]" Impact — who does this affect in practice
We track all 50 on the regulation map. Corrections welcome — there's no PR cycle on forum posts, post and we'll act.
