Material specification for aramid ballistic cloth, the aramid ballistic fabric used in ballistic protective items. It is not a helmet specification. The PASGT combat helmet is specified by MIL-H-44099, which references MIL-DTL-44050 for its aramid ballistic cloth (MIL-H-44099A requires a V50 of at least 2,000 ft/s). Listed under helmets because of that PASGT lineage.
