Protection Levels for Occupants of Armoured Vehicles
NATO STANAG 4569 Edition 3 defines six protection levels (1-6) for logistic and light armoured vehicles against kinetic energy, artillery, and mine threats. Widely cited in US DoD vehicle-armor procurement and in NATO member armed-forces specs.
