NIJ published 0101.07 with a restructured threat-level schema (HG1/HG2/RF1/RF2/RF3) factored into NIJ 0123.00. Existing 0101.06-certified vests remain compliant for their cert term; new certifications after Sept 2026 must use 0101.07.
